Project Brief
To provide a website which incorporates an On-line shop, with the ability for the site owner to edit and add items to Stock listed and in addition be able to modify how the items are listed, to list the entire product range, organised into different categories.
This shop will need to interface with different third party payment gateways:-
- Cheque / Postal Order
- PayPal
- Telephone Card Payment Service
The Solution
Developed a website solution which includes an on-line shop totally maintained by the website owner, back end administration area, and including some extra features such as a community forum.
During the sales process customers have the option of selecting which payment gateway, they would like to use. when the sale has been completed the customer is sent a confirmation email, confirming the sale. Further emails sent when each stage in the order process is completed, keeping the customer fully informed about the process of the order.
Further Development
Future planned development includes improving the user interface of the on-line shop pages by adding a search facility and a results filter.
